In 1597, a play is published by William Shakespeare, and what began as a history became a tragedy. It is the story of Richard the Third, the last King of the Plantagenets—an enemy of Queen Elizabeth, England’s current monarch.

 But what if Richard the Third wasn’t always a tragedy, a vilification of the very real man thusly made monstruous—what if it began as a heroic history? Not a true story, not a history, but inspired by one, DISCONTENT is a story about the man behind the pen.

This is a story about vilification and what happens when we pursue notoriety above all.
